I find that I like water shoes which are more like running shoes and I figured a single sole shoe would fit as a unit and give my foot more support. I found it more like a waterspout. I ordered my normal shoe size - this pair is a plus size, roomy at the toe and slides over the foot for aqua aerobics. After about 10 socks there is a slight wear on the tips of the toes, but for the moment this does not affect the integrity of the shoe. For me this is not the right shoe for the water and I have no plans to order it again. But for the price and if you like water socks this is a good buy.
