I originally planned to buy some of the WeatherTech flooring I saw advertised on TV (never heard of Husky liners). As I drove my car to the dyeing shop and put on a sheer bra, I asked the guy there if he had any experience with WeatherTechs. He said they are good but prefer the Husky liners. After doing a little research I settled on the Husky liners as they cover the retaining hole in the floor mat with rubber (to keep it from leaking) and have a bunch of pointed cones on the bottom that keep the mats from moving move . Like other insoles in this price range, they fit the car (in my case a 2011 Subaru Legacy) and fit perfectly in the footwells. The rear mat is in one piece, so it also covers the strip in the rear legroom. By default they cover the throttle on the floor, but they have a spot where you can cut it if you want. I leave mine closed and just reach down for the lever. With high sides and covered openings, they should hold a significant amount of winter debris. The only downside I see is that I would like the material to be a bit thicker/sturdy as I am concerned it will wear out quickly. Only time will tell how well they hold up.
