I was worried about the plastic content and that they are are not breathable at all. My son loves these shoes and wore them without socks. Well as suspected they got so smelly that we couldn’t leave them in the house. I decided to toss them into the washing machine before I tossed them into the trash. They came out looking like new and didn’t smell. My son wears socks with the shoes now and we haven’t had the stinky problem again. It’s been a couple of months and they are still in great shape. He gets compliments on them often too.
