Summer is all about the produce and this great product gets a workout while I wash my beans and other garden gifts but also helps me out while processing. When I chop tomatoes in a food processor, I freeze the solids, but I prefer to drain off some of the liquid for fresh juice. This good strainer is perfect for this purpose in my large 5 liter mixing bowl. while still pouring the broth into your bowl or large stockpot. I really needed a colander this size with legs to sit securely in the sink and also fit in the bowl if I wanted to hold liquid and I am delighted with this product. It's strong and well made. Highly recommended.
