I have to say that I didn't believe in luck as all the YT reviews showed that the ram was bought from the same manufacturer for the second slot. It was a cheaper alternative and this card (8GB) stood the test. I ended up swapping the old 2GB memory card from the first slot to the second slot. All in all, I went from 2GB to 10GB (actually 9.66GB) of RAM and noticed the change right away. Previously I couldn't launch YT with other tabs like playbooks (no videos) open without getting stuck and prompted to close the session after 10 minutes. But when I inserted a new card, I immediately opened 20 tabs and launched YT with no issues. Even tried Netflix and two tabs with YT (YouTube) in the background paused while browsing another tab and everything worked fine. To see the changes I downloaded the Cog extension from the website as there is no way to see Ram in the device settings. Generally get this card if you have a first generation Chromebox and make sure it is CT10246BF186D so the correct model number can be installed. Some will say you don't need that much RAM, but who are we kidding when Chrome uses that much CPU and RAM to run programs. I'm thinking about getting another 8GB to go up to 16GB but we'll see
