Just a lamp in the garage. With a regular lightbulb you had a lot of dark spots and shadows. As this is my husband's workshop he couldn't decide what to do with the lighting. It was a Christmas present. My husband loves this. Now there is light everywhere in the garage. That single light solved his problem. With 4 beams, you can direct them all towards the floor or against the wall. It's very bright. This is the one I bought for myself. I have a small bedroom that I use for crafts and it has a very weak fan. It had to be put in the room, I was afraid it might be too bright for such a small room, but it's great. Now I have a lot of light in my room. I have two hands pointing at the closet and the other two pointing straight down. It doesn't overheat. The light delay is only a fraction of a second compared to ordinary light.
