What drew me to this particular travel shoe bag model was the size and placement of the ventilation. It's small enough that you don't have to worry about dirt getting into your luggage from your shoes, and big enough that the contents can actually breathe. We just used them for a trip and my husband's size 10 fit snug but good, and so does my 9 1/2. Packages take up more space in suitcases than individual toe caps, but that wasn't an issue on this trip. The zipper feels solid and the pockets feel very well made.
