I was very unpleasantly surprised when I opened it up and found that it only contained one plug! The lights have a decent cord length, but don't think you'll buy this set of two and light up two opposite sides of your room. Otherwise, setup is easy. There are brackets for horizontal and vertical alignment and small adhesive pads for attachment. Plug it into the wall and add it to the Hue app. And here I shoot another star. The app has been around for years and has gone through several iterations, but it still lacks basic features. Really basic functionality - for example, you can't even toggle these lights between two colors unless you're using one of the dozens of preset scenes. If you don't like these color combinations, you're out of luck.
