I have a corgi that sheds hair every day. I also have a robot vacuum that I use for the living room and dining room. I bought it mainly to clean my bedroom but also to clean a small area that the robot vacuum can't reach. It's powerful enough to suck up all the dirt on the floor and I even use one of the vacuum attachments to clean my bed and sheets. It never ceases to amaze me how much dirt and dust mites hide on my bed. Happy with the vacuum cleaner. The only criticism is that the smell is strong when you open the packaging. After a few days outdoors the smell was gone.
