Just what I need to attach a glass top to a metal table base
Bought table used. There were small holes in the metal base of the table for this type of suction cup. A few suction cups were missing. For the missing suction cups I used new suction cups. I replaced the remaining old suction cups with these new ones. The tabs on the suction cup had to be moved to get it into the holes in the table base. A tight fit was necessary to keep the suction cups in place. Now the glass plate stays in place. I'm not worried about it detaching from the metal base.
