The fastest way to put your iPhone in landscape mode. No trouble. However, the phone works great in portrait mode when you're on a flat surface. One leg of the MOBY is behind the phone, the 2nd leg of the MOBY is on the side of the phone, and the third "leg" of the tripod is the iPhone lying on the surface. MOBY's third leg is a counterweight in the air. I use my checkbook as a "phone" because I needed a camera phone. Great for my Zoom class.
