Review on EAGLE WiFi Smart Internet Router by Bryan Finken

As a beta tester for several companies, last year I have TP-Link M5, M9, X20, P9, AC4000, Dynalink, Linksys, WavLink, Vilo, Ancatus, WiFlyer tested and Eero WiFi router. Here's how this D-Link Eagle Pro compares to my average WeLink WAN download speed of 580Mbps and Pixel 4A 5G running Android 12 Beta: PROS1. Outstanding LAN speed: 552 Mbit/s2. Excellent WiFi speed: at 1ft: 483.3Mbps at 25ft through 1 wall: 185.2Mbps3. Nice browser interface. See photo4. Has a guest feature where you have a separate SSID and password and can only allow internet access. CONS1. In an environment with many walls and possibly a floor in between, the router will need WiFi extenders. Through 2 walls and 1 floor at a distance of about 50 feet: 13.8 Mbps2. There is no way to assign WiFi channels for 2.4G or 5G, so you may experience interference from nearby signals if D-Link doesn't select the best channels for you.3. You cannot separate 2.4G and 5G SSID names and passwords. This can be an issue when trying to connect a WiFi device that ONLY requires a 2.4G signal. CONCLUSION: Despite 4 external antennas, the WiFi signal beyond 15 or 20 feet is not as good as the DynaLink AX3600, which is my #1 at the moment. for single WiFi 6 routers as it offers the fastest speeds over distance and you can choose 2.4G and 5G channels for the best coverage and speed in your area.
