Protective pads are strong and durable. They are applied clearly and do not detract from the experience in any way. Images still feel just as sharp and crisp, and the touchscreen remains very responsive. I always buy this brand because of their policy of sending extra protectors if you screw up the rig. I'm usually good at it, but this time I bought protectors as a gift for a kid who of course wanted to "help" install them. Which led to disaster. The protective film was full of bubbles and tiny fingerprints. Luckily I was able to install a second one and the company will send me another to replace the one we messed up.
