You get what you pay for

Don't repeat my mistake. You get what you pay for. I'm a beginner and needed a set to get started and then maybe upgrade to a more expensive set as the hobby picks up. Blades are not sharp at all. I've had better luck carving wood with a small pocket knife I bought from a home storage facility. Most cuts are torn. I can really only use one of the blades to cut something properly. Pay attention to the sizes indicated in the picture, they are small and cramp your hands. I would really like to spend the extra money to get a proper set.
