I fitted this to a Jeep Grand Cherokee. According to the packaging it is: - 100% waterproof - Scratch resistant - Durable - Resistant to dirt and stains - Easy to install - Easy to clean. It was exceptionally easy to install. The ribbed side falls down and two loops pass through the rear headrests. There are two Velcro straps in the middle so the included hook (which looks like a mini leash) can be attached to the harness. This is the hook that we have in the center of the cover in the attached photo. It attaches to the dog's harness to keep it from flying around the car. I do not recommend holding onto the dog's collar as this can injure or kill the dog if you stop using it. Two extra plastic clips were included but I wasn't sure what they were for so I didn't use them. I love the light padding, quality, coverage, and ease of installation of this case. I wish there were at least two hooks in case you also have more than one dog as there are two holes. My girlfriend has three dogs and runs an animal welfare organization so she protects her back seat.
