Overall I like the look and the convenience it offers. Keep it in place. The phone clip is flat so it can't adequately hold a walkie-talkie or anything thicker than a modern smartphone (use a cup holder instead). The part of the phone clamp vibrates and jumps a lot when the phone is in it while driving Pros: Once drilled and fixed, it is VERY sturdy. Double sided tape is useless BUT I prefer to drill holes and use zip ties rather than leaving a sticky residue on the railing. , and ties are much more reliable, even if the tie is held for a while.
