very well made compared to others
I ordered this to use as a step to climb my new garage utility pole (93 inches at the top pole). It is very well made and can be folded to the side when not in use. I would have no hesitation in using it for its intended purpose, on a boat or farm implement, the casting is clean, the zinc is thick and the hinges and spring are stainless steel. , and a big step.
