Review on 🐠 AMMZO Optimal Temperature Drinkable Aquarium by Todd Calloway

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Easy to read, works great!

TLDR: Extremely easy to use/read, accurate (if you know how your water should be) and the additional temperature and EC functions are very useful. Detailed Review: I got this to measure the TDS for my aquarium. As a general rule, TDS should be less than 300 ppm. A little higher and you will find that your fish or shrimp may get sick. After a landscape change in an aquarium, the TDS can increase dramatically as particles and sediment enter the water column. I first measured tap water as a base (110ppm) and then measured my existing aquarium (180ppm). My new tank with brand new rocks was 410ppm the first day but after a few days it showed 215ppm so I know TDS won't be an issue if I add the fish now! Additionally, some fish species are very sensitive to temperature changes (and changes in water conditions in general), so having an instrument that can measure temperature accurately is handy. Now I don't really know what the EC should be for tap water or for an aquarium, but my tap water measured 220 µs/cm and the aquarium was comparatively much higher, around 400 µs/cm. So now I am aware of the potential problem that could harm my fish thanks to this device.

Pros
  • Many uses: We drink water. In addition to the well-known reliable mineral water, other pure water also needs to measure the purity of water, which can protect the health of children, the elderly and pregnant women. It can also be used in hydroponics and pools. Also hot springs, aquariums etc.
Cons
  • Rumpled
