I have a table tennis conversion top for my air hockey table. The top needed an easy to install and remove net option and this product works nicely. There are some positive and negative things about this product. They are listed below. But the most important thing of note is that this product CANNOT be adjusted for the width of your table. So you should ensure you have a standard 5 foot (60 inch) wide table. If you have that, this product will fit perfectly. This net is designed so that when it is clamped to a 5 foot table the net extends 6 inches past each side (as is standard) to create a total width of 72 inches.The good:- Wide enough to span the seam in my conversion top.- Fits a standard table perfectly.- The tension on the net is adjustable. However, you might have to untie and retie the net to the anchoring chains to be able to position it properly. For example, the thread along the top of mine is too long so it needs to be tied shorter for the anchor chain to catch on the small hooks used to control the tension.The bad:- Instructions are not very good. A rod pulls out of the net posts. The rod is fed through a loop in the end of the net and then the assembly is inserted back into the post with the net passing through a slot in the post.- The net is not particularly sturdy. However, it should work for casual play.
