Great combo blender/chopper A Plus glass jar travel container handy very satisfied

It was time to get rid of my old Oster blender and I wanted a good chopper. Enter this Hamilton Beach 2-in-1 and I get 2 lights in a square. A little more space for chopper accessories. My expectations from a kitchen chopper are pretty basic and the chopper attachment with the included "S" blade does everything I'm looking for. The side of the blender easily drains my 20 year old Oster blender. There is no shadow on Easter; he was old and quite tired. So, I'll start by saying that I'm pretty damn happy with this chopper mixer. I don't actually use a travel mug, so it's nice when things change, but I don't mind. This device has a 950w motor which is way more than my old Easter. Edits Ice Cubes Quickly Frozen Margaritas are delicious on a warm summer day with friends! All other common uses of blenders I have are very well done. Mostly smoothies with frozen berries and fresh fruit. All of them completely convince me. The chopper quickly finished off the garlic, herbs, and whatever I threw at it. With a light twist, it makes a killer salsa that's a great accompaniment to the aforementioned margaritas. Delicious. The whole is well designed for disassembly and easy cleaning. I have no complaints about the design. I like that the main glass is a blender. It has that nice solid feel that I like. The chopper and travel mug are plastic but appear to be well made. Perfect for its purpose. As I expected, Hamilton Beach guidebooks are very basic and not very helpful. The manual for this device lived up to that expectation. Parts and knobs are pictured and labeled, very basic blender, travel jar and chopper instruction manual, blender, travel jar and chopper tips and cleaning instructions. NOTE: The base (obviously) and (less intuitively) the chopper adapter must not be submerged in water! There is a tip for cleaning the blender jar and a travel jar that can be cleaned without disassembly which I found interesting. I wish Hamilton Beach would invest in better guides. I think people will have more fun with good documentation and will appreciate the possibilities of their products. For me, this blender/chopper was a true two-in-one offering. It's clearly well made and works great in either of the two modes I use. That's 5 stars for me.
