I'm a relatively new golfer, average at best, and my biggest issue is stability. I played a round with these balls and had good to great shots all day. The irons and short game were great too. I understand the ball works as well as you hit it, but I've played with cheaper balls (averaging $1 per ball, that's $1.75) and I can feel the difference as they come out of the racquet. If you're at that "intermediate" level like me, I think it's worth a few bucks more. I found orange useful for balls that were deflected to the side. Played 18 and only lost 2 balls all day (both in the water).
