I bought this because I wanted the Lightning connector on my Apple Pencil 1 to stay connected. I've already changed the female key to female, and losing it makes using the pencil much less pleasant. This product is very suitable for this purpose and I definitely recommend it. The extra attachments that come with the kit - a pencil tip cap and another cryptic attachment that I assume is meant to protect the lightning cable - are nice and I'm glad to have them, but I don't need them and hardly use them. But cover guard!
