The device works perfectly, the sound quality is very good. An AAA battery lasts a very long time. The only problem with these devices is the connection point between the headphones and the Walkman. After prolonged use, maybe 2 years, the connection becomes loose or otherwise does not provide a clear signal. You have a loss of signal, or the signal is only present in one earbud, or the signal is so weak that you can barely hear it. You have to shake the connection to restore it temporarily. This condition is undoubtedly caused by grabbing and pulling on objects like a doorknob while walking or working on the wire. However, Sony needs to improve the connector design to avoid this defect, which will surely shorten the lifespan of the product. I haven't found a better product so I have to replace my unit every few years.
