I bought these to use in the kitchen to flavor my soups and sauces without straining the pieces. They are small but can hold a surprising amount. I just pack my scents, tie the string and drop them in the pot. Cleaning is pretty easy. When I'm done cooking, I simply empty the contents and throw the pouch in the dishwasher along with the rest of the dishes. The only downside I found about them is the lace. This is a thin rope, so sometimes it is difficult to untie the bags. I also snapped a few strings and the bag became unusable. Luckily, these bags are pretty cheap so it doesn't cost much to replace them.
