I am new to the world of razors. I've been using a safety razor for a while, but I don't like how small and heavy it is in my hands. The traditional single-handled ruler seemed more cumbersome. I didn't want to spend a lot of money on a bigger brand so thought it would be a good way to test the waters. I wasn't disappointed, it turned out really really well. I have used blades with soft spring guards and have been happy with the combination. I use it to clean up beard lines to make it look crisp so it's good for that. If you're looking for a very close and close shave you'll probably want a better blade, but I'm clumsy and the professional guard worked great. currently it works perfectly.
