It's been crazy busy in my world, so it's been over a month since I received the 4-Panel Customizable DM Screen and thus far I'm very happy with it.ARRIVED: Nicely packaged in an attractive printed cardboard box/sleeve that seemed to keep it safe, no damage, no problems.USABILITY: The vinyl folio has 4 panels, each with transparent sleeves intended to receive 8.5"x11" slide in sheets with either images (facing out) or data (facing in). One can either use the pre-printed images and forms included with this product (if they work for the game you're running) or you can print / make your own 8.5"x11" inserts. I suspect either card stock or paper will work. The ones that come with the product are printed on paper. I'm running D&D5e, and the forms weren't made for that, so I'll be making my own inserts.FACINGS: Based on the way the 4 panel folio wants to naturally curve, the way the product arrived, it seemed that the images were on the inward facing side (concave) of the folio leaving the outward facing (convex) side to receive the data sheets. That's backwards from how I use my screens, so I just slid the images out and slid them into the sleeves on the opposite side. NOTE - the images assume 2 end images and 2 middle images, so if you want to use the ones you see in the product pictures, there is a "right" way to arrange them (probably 4 right ways = 2 valid end position options x 2 valid center panel options).SPREAD - compared to my normal DM screens which are made of panels wider than they are tall, this taller than wide arrangement is nice for games where people are sitting in close and you want to get a bit of privacy from people sitting close off your elbows. I like the extra height. If you need to cover a lot of left-to-right distance, you may need to augment this screen as it's not the widest I have.SLEEVE EASE - I was a bit concerned about how easy it would be to get papers in and out of the sleeves on either side of the screen, but I've had no trouble at all so far. Sheets slide in and out easily.COLOR - Since the brand color for D&D5e is red, I went for the red vinyl version and I like the color very much - very vibrant and bright.SIZE/PORTABILITY - fits easily in my DM bag, though not inside my clam shell style clip board. Thicker and beefier than a standard D&D DM screen, these do take up a bit more room, but I don't find it to be a problem.Overall I'm very satisfied with this product and can't wait to come up with my own custom data and reference sheets and eventually my own custom art. The flexibility of being able to design both sides of this screen is hard to beat. I highly recommend this product to DMs/GMs who like the idea of taking control of their screen design. A great product.
