I have three of these devices. I sailed happily with no problems and didn't understand the negative reviews. until it happened to me Problem/Solution 1: At first I had a problem with an unexpected power outage. It happened two or three times before I found out. I held the device by the right edge (where the power and volume buttons are). Holding it with one hand along the right edge allows the front case to shrink together with the back case on the side where the buttons are located. Apparently, this can activate the power button mechanism and turn off the device. Do not hold the device in such a way that you accidentally press the right edge! Problem/Solution 2: The device did not turn on today. It also doesn't show the charging screen (a large battery that fills up green to show the battery level while charging). So I held down the power button and volume down button at the same time for about 20-30 seconds. (Another reviewer suggests it must be the volume down button. I wasn't paying attention to the position of my finger on the volume button.) The battery charging screen appeared (because the charger was connected). The device then started by pressing the power button. All my apps and saved settings are intact. The screen resolution is excellent. The battery life is phenomenal. The battery charges quickly. The built-in memory (2 GB) is sufficient for most requirements. Not my needs, so sometimes I need to kill processes that Android loads automatically on startup. Then I have enough memory. I stress that this is not typical for most users. (One of my favorite apps is memory hungry, but with good reason.) Internal storage is adequate (16GB). If you need more, you can add an extra memory card. I'm using an extra 128GB card. Anything else you want to know?
