These lights fall from above. Unscrew the cover behind the headlight units. Just a note, it's better to have small hands. They need to be screwed into the hole that the H8 bulbs fit into. Very tight. I have fat little hands and ended up removing the power steering reservoir for better access. There are no instructions that you have to have the arms of a five year old and the strength of Arnold to install quickly. After installation they worked perfectly. Not the soft yellow light of old lamps, but a blue and white LED. Just a little lighter. The packaging was elegant, very much like Apple's. One star deducted for the lack of instructions.
