Review on 📚 Smith System 01650CLNPLTPLT Silhouette Single Student Desk: Classic Laminate, Platinum Edge by Tara Perez

My kids are in cyber school because of COVID. I have a large desk in the study, but I wanted something smaller that I could use in the living room or anywhere else in the house where we could do schoolwork. Sometimes it's hard for younger kids to sit in the same room all day so I thought this would be great for everyone as it's height adjustable and quite articulated but still well built and sturdy. also very easy. The instructions were pretty basic, but I had trouble keeping track of everything when trying to drill and such. It takes almost two people so that one can hold things and the other collects. But I made it myself, and I'm a woman, so you can do it yourself. In terms of durability, the thing is very well made. Not only is this a solid table, decent materials have been used. The only downside is that it makes it a little heavier than I thought it would be. But I can still pick it up and move it around if need be, it's just not as easy as I was hoping. But the compromise is a table that's sturdy and well built, so can't really complain about the weight! The overall look of this table is also good. It reminds me of the desk you see in middle or high school. No, it won't match your decor unless you're a teacher in a classroom, but it still looks good. The only problem I have with this table. And the reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is the height adjustment. I have several children of different ages so I thought it would be ideal to have a height adjustable table. But unfortunately it is not easy to change the height, you have to loosen 4 screws with an Allen key to adjust the height. So if you were hoping for something like me that could work for multiple kids of different ages on a daily basis, then this will disappoint you. But if you're just buying it for one child and want something that will grow with them, then this is perfect. Overall I'm happy with this table. This is one that is well built and should last for years.
