I don't know if it's 100% tight because I use one of these in my hair products and I'm not really convinced. but other than that it looks pretty good. UPDATE: I was on a trip... used these bottles, most were good. leakproof. but as i mentioned i used one of these for my hair products and it was a mess all over. AND IT WAS A TEAR OF IDEA HOW IT GET THERE AS IT WAS IN THE BAG ALL THE TIME. I do not know. I am changing it from 5 stars to 3 stars
