Review on πŸ€– BISSELL CleanView Connect Roomba-style Robotic Vacuum, in Sleek Black by Melody Watson

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Doesn't help much with pet dander, wandering aimlessly and repeating the same spots

My roommate and I gave this a 5 on a scale of 1 to 10 as a solution to our tendencies towards laziness and the molting cat probably. I really wanted to love this little robot vacuum cleaner but unfortunately it doesn't suck. That's what the vacuum is supposed to do. I want it to suck a lot more than it does. Anyway: Pros: - Easy to set up - it took me less than 10 minutes to charge it before our first test run in 6 hours. - Interesting to look at, even for a cat. Until you realize what you're looking at (more on that in the Cons section), the remote control is easy to use, useful when the robot needs a course correction, which it promises. wool. I watched the robot go over the same spot on the carpet 5 times and although a few follicles appeared the vast majority stayed. This has happened to several types of rugs in my home - some with a heavier pile, some with a very fine pile. It didn't matter - performance was lackluster and nonexistent, if anything, for a product advertised as a pet hair solution. - Often lacks crumbs and other fairly basic items you would expect from a vacuum cleaner - even a small handheld vacuum. deal with ease. He quickly earned the nickname "drunk uncle" for how aimless and illogical his pathfinding skills are. This product is in no way intended for large living spaces - we have an open living/dining/kitchen concept that is rectangular, about 20x35, more or less, and the robot basically spends its battery life poking around everywhere and repeating the same thing thing and the same. spots, completely ignoring the others. I could handle all these hits but in some applications it never worked, covering the whole space but repeating the same spots over and over again. Brushes need constant care. It's not that hard to take care of - there are some great tools in the kit and anyone familiar with trimming strings from a conventional vacuum will have no problem. But this robot seems to need it every launch or two to stay "efficient" (I'm citing this because its performance is disappointing even at its peak). The kicker for me is the furniture damage. I have several bedside tables/bedside tables in my bedroom, heirlooms that I have been fortunate to take care of. They are about 150 years old and made of softer wood. This first launch of the robots in this bedroom was the last. Between the brushing and all the horrible fighting, they're all visible damage. That's a big minus. One last note: for that amount of money - hell, even less - you could buy a conventional vacuum cleaner that would put it to shame. I'm giving our drunk uncle a few more days to see if I can see any improvement or they'll bring him back.
