Pens 🖊 are nice to look at AND to use. I saw it in an ad and fell in love. I imagined myself writing letters to friends and long entries in my journal. Which I did by the way. The pens are beautiful and a dream to use. After being dipped in ink, you can ✍️ write at least 3-4 sentences before the ink runs out. When the ink begins to fade, simply turn the knob and the ridges in the jar will dispense more ink. That's great! Another reason I bought this set was to encourage my daughter to be enthusiastic about cursive writing. It worked! With it, she likes to write and write in different colors. All my kids write in italics so they had fun playing with different pens and inks. Disclaimer: I understand that some schools still teach cursive. The school district didn't have it and so I taught it to my kids because it's still used in the real world. Please don't hate me for this comment.
