Review on AKM Dual Direction Precision 20 160Ft Lb 20 210Nm by Marco Maurer

Seems well made and is an upgrade from the cheap one I had from JC Whitney which was definitely made in China over 10 years ago. It is very easy to adjust, the markings are quite good and the locking mechanism is very well made. The torque click is very loud and has good vibration. There was no calibration or instruction manual, although I'm not sure I would trust a calibration made in China. I bought it because the Q&A said it was from Taiwan. In my working life in the semiconductor industry, Taiwanese companies usually made good products, but in China, the materials and quality control methods were worse. I don't think I'll be returning it as it's not worth the hassle and I don't see any obvious downsides.
