Review on 🔋 KRIPOL 12 Pack AAA NIMH Rechargeable Batteries - 1000mAh 1.2V Replacement Battery for Panasonic Cordless Phone with 1500 Cycle Charge by Jerry Delozier

I have tried this brand before and still no error. I charged 9 of them and put 3 on another charger with test cycle capability. The cells tested all read more than 900mAh after one cycle, which I think is within the margin of error for this small tester, so I'll say they're close enough to the 1000mAh which is said to be good. one final cell that the Nitecore charger initially failed to detect. I tried it 3 times and it always gave me an error. I think it was hard to define chemistry or something like that. On the 4th try it started loading and I thought everything was fine. After about an hour into the charge cycle, I hear faint clicks. I look at my charger and the battery starts to smoke a little. I made a short video and then unplugged the charger. I checked the temperature of the battery with a laser thermometer and it was over 238 degrees Fahrenheit. I have doubts about these batteries for obvious reasons. They have a great energy density of 1000mAh in a AAA cell, but I definitely won't charge them unattended. I will update if I run into any more issues.
