I learned my lesson when I bought this. Bought a used vacuum cleaner cheaply and wanted to replace the brush heads as they are very worn out. This part was half the price of the OEM Oreck so I went with it. Never. I needed a vacuum and didn't want to send that pile of crap back. It took two hours of grinding with a Dremel tool to fit this debris. Although both parts are made in China, they definitely don't meet Oreck's specs. Do yourself a favor and spend a little more if your time is valuable. Even though the head seems to be working great after a few months of use, the time to get it fit could have been spent elsewhere.
