They are much better than the ones that come with clippers. Everyone mentioned the same thing, but no one explained why. Unlike others, I found them much easier to put in and take out, much easier than the plastic ones. Metallic clicking creates a feeling of superior quality. These guides are made of much more durable plastic. Strangely, the plastic is a bit thinner, but once you play with them you'll see that they bend less, so the haircut will be much better and with fewer mistakes. The big problem with the included guides is that they flex with minimal pressure change, leading to inferior results. No problem with that. Metal has nothing to do with strength as others have mentioned, metal is only for looks and also for attachment to the clippers, but what makes them so much better is the more durable plastic. I also like the design. The narrowest top of the guides has a slight upward curve for better grip, especially when cutting long hair. Very happy with the purchase!
