When my 20 year old electric hand mixer died I panicked. It was vacation time and I bake a lot. I have a stand mixer, but for cookies and other products it's often more convenient to use a hand mixer. I read review after review in search of the perfect blender. I settled on one, kept it for a week and had to return it because it beat the egg whites well on level 1, but the butter was a disaster and adding flour or other dry ingredients meant it all fell apart! After returning, I again looked for reviews and bought this model. The racquets seemed smaller than the previous one but I've had them for a few months now and they are perfect. Stainless steel whisk (don't buy plastic). It hits well at all speeds and I'm happy. Highly recommended.
