Review on Miitech Professional Digital Ultrasonic Cleaner: Unparalleled Cleaning Power by Adam Johnson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A professional device now available for everyone 😃

Ultrasonic cleaning is used to remove unwanted materials from everything from jewelry to long guns, from ultra-thin lenses to massive engine parts, from surgical instruments to to computer parts. Previously, these ultrasonic devices were expensive and only available to large industrial companies and auto repair shops. But these days the prices are getting more affordable and so I wanted to get one of these to see if they are any good. Although I was also wondering if ultrasonic waves would damage relatively fragile materials like glass or ceramics. But after some research I found many articles stating that ultrasonic cleaning is perfectly safe for these materials. So, while the main use of this tool for me was to clean small engine parts and nuts and bolts, it's still good to know. Now to this particular model. GOOD: + Tested on multiple objects and materials, the device actually removes everything from common dirt and engine sludge to oily chemicals that can prevent paint and other coatings from adhering to finished products. This also includes lubricants, greases, polishing and polishing compounds, cutting fluids and more.+ Achieve a spotless clean in just 10 to 20 minute cycles than expected, especially when the lid is closed during use. + The digital control panel looks good and is easy to read and use. + Stainless steel construction. NOT SO GOOD: - No drain plug. So to empty the tank I had to tip the whole device over, which is not very practical. - The tank of this machine has a small capacity and is only suitable for cleaning small parts. Basin dimensions approx 12" long x 6" wide x 3.5" deep. In summary, despite its small size I am very happy with this ultrasonic cleaner which I still only needed to clean a few small parts of the car so I didn't spend more money on a larger and more expensive one An important note about cleaning medical instruments: Ultrasonic cleaning does not remove spores or viruses When cleaning medical instruments, they should be sterilized after other contaminants have been removed in an ultrasonic cleaner.
