I've had them for three months now and so far I really like them. You get a lot out of the headphones for the price. All in all the kit looks great. The construction doesn't feel cheap (aka plastic), flimsy, or oversized. The color is subtle (black), and the j-lab mark above the strap doesn't stick out like a sore thumb. The strap stretches just enough for larger heads, but they don't stay stretched like some plastic headphones (Skullz can do that after a lot of use), so I like that the shape stays the way it is. The earpieces (sorry I'm not good with terms) lengthen if you need them too. They can also be folded for better storage. (I don't really care, but it probably helps keep the headphones from bending and breaking when stored in a bag). The strap and ears are covered in some sort of faux leather-like material, which makes them comfortable to wear but doesn't leave much room to "breathe." In fact, the only discomfort I've experienced with them is around the ears. After wearing it for a long time (I have 2 hours) my auricle starts to hurt. Do not get me wrong; when you put it on, the headphones fit like a dream. After a while, the ears sweat a little and start to hurt (maybe from the pressure of the ear pads, or maybe I'm wearing them too long). I don't think my ears are sticking out the sides of my head so I'm not sure what the problem is. In any case, I just adjust the fit so they don't press on the sore spots (move them forward a bit on my head to relieve the pressure). The sound quality itself sounds great to me, although I'm not a music lover or anything. -They are. When I first tried them, they sounded very dirty. I've read that you may need to "blow through" these headphones with the audio file on the j-lab website. I personally wasn't sure if this method is even reliable, but I spent about 30 minutes "burning" this j-lab. I was afraid of breaking them so I didn't do the full 72 hours or as long as everyone says you should do. After that, however, the sound quality improved significantly. I can't tell if this was due to the short "firmware" I made, or if the headphones just needed a bit of tweaking after first use. I noticed that the headphones let the sound through at a certain volume. If you are in a quiet place, you will hear a thud from the headphones at medium volume. Also, they don't block out all outside noise. So if that's what you're looking for, you'll probably have better luck with in-ear headphones. I have an iPhone 4S, a Samsung laptop and a microphone. The feature works on both devices. You can also adjust the volume on an iPhone, but not on a laptop (at least it doesn't work for me). Nobody has complained about my microphone when using these headphones. The cable itself is flat and a decent length. For the price, I definitely recommend this product. This has happened so far, so I hope to continue using them for years to come.
