Works great as an anti-theft device
My son broke the key fob on his 2008 Acura TSX. I bought a replacement for $20 and it works great. The instructions on the website were very easy and literally took 30 seconds to program. A few years ago I went to my local Acura dealer to find out how much it would cost to program an old key fob and they said it would cost about $300 because they would have to hook it up to a computer, which one is a complete lie.
