The manufacturer has asked me to update my review based on our email correspondence. This is an update. This device did not work with my Omen 15 which was new as of January 2020. I received an error message that a low power charger was connected and the laptop was still running on battery power. The manufacturer informed me that the specified maximum power (180 watts) is actually a hard maximum. If your Omen came with a higher rated power supply (200W in my case), this replacement power supply will not work. Unfortunately, they don't make a higher power charger. I checked the PSU of a three year old Omen 17 and it was listed as 230W. Based on this, if you are considering buying this device for a new or old Omen, check the specs of the included power adapter. As for the block itself, it turned out to be well done. I liked the blue indicator light that confirms the device is connected and working. I took off a star because it wasn't clear enough (to me and I believe to others) that the power rating is a hard limit and you need to check the power adapter that came with your laptop. I took off another star because I think the PSU is a little big and heavy for its maximum rating.
