Sorry Revane, I have them on sale at Costco! I've had many wired headphones over the years and then several pairs of SONY RF wireless headphones. I bought these newer technologies to use with my previous TV. To do this, I had to buy a Bluetooth transmitter. See my reviews of the Nulaxy BR04 and BR18 models. Before that, I tried $300 BOSE Bluetooth headphones. I gave it to my daughter when I bought it. WH-H900N is much better! GOOD - Absolutely great sound that is EASY to customize with the SONY headphones app. I have an Android version. There are several built-in sound shaping options OR you can use the equalizer function to shape the sound to your liking. There are also surround sound options that I haven't fully explored yet, including some options based on the shape of your ears! With these headphones you can listen to ambient noise or activate the noise canceling function. Turning the latter on IMMEDIATELY eliminates extraneous noise! Although I don't know the technical parameters, I would estimate a 90-95% reduction in external noise! Bluetooth pairing is easy and fast. Mediocre – The headphones are MODERATEly comfortable. If the user wears glasses or a hearing aid, the rather small ear pads are a bit annoying. This is a problem with most headphones. NOT unique to you! Annoying – The WH-H900N has TOUCH controls in the right earcup. To change the volume, slide your finger UP (increase) or DOWN (decrease) on the center of the right earcup. It works, but it's inconvenient, AND if not done correctly, activates the MUTE function (briefly holding the right earbud). It's very annoying when you're in the middle of your favorite piece of music! The headgear is slightly loose and/or slippery. I wear these headphones and listen to music while I cook. It's VERY inconvenient to adjust the headgear FREQUENTLY when your hands are slimy from handling chicken! PLUS, the constant adjustment of the headband results in frequent unintentional muting due to the touch controls discussed above. These are my reasons for only giving 4 stars overall and only 2 stars for the volume control. Codec Issues - The WH-H900N headphones may use several different codecs. As I understand it, codecs are software used to convert an incoming digital signal into sound. Several codecs offer less audio latency (time delay reduction). You'll need as little time as possible when watching movies or anything talking heads! The CODEC selection is between your Bluetooth transmitter and the headphones. A study on the SONY website has shown that the headphone app allows the user to change the headphone PRIORITY from SIGNAL to SOUND QUALITY. This change changed the codec used and reduced the audio latency! But I can't figure out how to select a different CODEC. I have a question for SONY and am waiting for an answer. SUMMARY - AMAZING sound with LOTS of customization options. A few annoying aspects, though.!
