Review on Samsung T5 Portable SSD MU PA500B by Agata Skibiska ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The best purchase in my life, I will definitely buy it again.

I backed up 150 GB to it via Time Machine, the disk warmed up, but not much - it feels a little warmer than normal body temperature. The speed is about 350 for both writing and reading, and regardless of temperature. I wonder if the speed will drop if you connect it via USB ports on an LG UltraFine monitor, which works as a monitor, as power, and as a USB hub for a poppy via a single cable. I'll check and ate the review if I remember :) : I checked, the speed dropped by about 2 times. Personally, it is not critical for me, on this disk there are backups and sources that do not require special performance.

Pros
  • Small; wound up in macOS without any software; moderately fast; almost no heat. Two cables included.
Cons
  • Samsung software does not work on Apple Silicon, since the kext is built for Intel. Not that he needed much, but still

Different pros: Speed, speed and more speed Amount of information And most importantly, its mini dimensions Has some cons The price, again, although everything is subjective here

Got pros: Outwardly, it is very compact and beautiful, light. The volume of 500Gb is considered too sufficient. There is factory data access protection. Read / write speed at a high level. Got cons: I'm not a programmer, but Windows 10's system setup failed to split it into multiple disks.

There are simply no worthy analogues at a discount. I recommend.

Bought for use with a router to host media on a local network. Flash in the router is a utopia. SSD - nothing, it helps to unload the communication channel, when the same series and cartoons are watched on all TVs in the apartment, as a bonus - the absence of advertising when watching.
