My new starter kit! for colors

Amazing colors! I've been using Cotman paints for a while and thought it would be a good idea to try artist paints and chose these based on YouTube's recommendation. Holy cow, they're holding out! As with most watercolours, a little goes a long way with these full pans! The fact that these are full pots filled with jam tells me they will last a long time compared to my half pan pots. And these paints are pourable, which means fewer fillers, which is hard to come by at this price point. They are so light, pigmented and mostly translucent. You'll notice that some of the yellows are more opaque, but I find this works best for me. However, some colors were difficult for me to draw because they were almost too translucent and lacked pigment, such as ocher yellow and green-blue. large) mixed pallets! The pots are not recessed or stable in the case so I wouldn't recommend them for travel but perfect for a table or desk. I also really like that the company includes their own blank sample card. I know I have some sharp OCD moments when I make my own because I need equilateral symmetrical pieces and they took all the hard work and let me do the fun part 😁. All in all, if you're looking for artist paints on a budget, you couldn't ask for a better set.
