Before ordering, I had a "dog harness" that consisted of one piece that connects to the harness socket and the other end to attach to your dog's collar. If you have a serious accident, it was actually a noose around your dog's neck. If the impact hadn't killed your dog, this thing probably would have snapped his neck. The other end connects to your dog's collar, it connects to the included harness. It's a lot safer for your dog and a lot more effective. The harness is true to size and easy to put on and take off for your dog. I highly recommend buying this. Whatever you do, if you have a harness, don't get one that attaches to a collar, always attach to a harness like this.
