Changed my view of the iPad

Oh yeah, another Apple Inc. product under the Magic brand. When you hear this marketing, you know it's getting serious. Just put your iPad on it and it's practically a laptop now. Complete with a charging port and arguably the best trackpad and keyboard in the game, and you've got a great package. All the negativity surrounding this product is the smallest of quibbles. Is it too hard? Well, if it didn't weigh a little more than the iPad itself, it wouldn't be stable. This added weight also adds rigidity to the fairly thin hardware. Objectively speaking, it's not something that should be classified as "difficult". No function keys? The keyboard is automatically backlit, just like the iPad, and even if the exit key is remapped in most apps, it can't even be used for any purpose. The volume buttons are on the iPad itself, giving you full functionality. Is the trackpad small? This is a very true review if you have fat hands. If that's you, I'd suggest just getting a MacBook, or just that if you have a 12.9-inch; I have no problem using it on an 11 inch. Screen corners not enough? A little further back it tips over and the iPad is literally held in place by magnets. So when you want to do things like drawing, just take it off and put it on a flat surface. built product and generally worth the money you pay for it even if you don't have a specific use for it. Simple things like surfing the web and typing feel the same as they do on any high-end laptop. I have some criticism that iPadOS isn't realizing the full potential of this product, but it's in its early stages now and I can only expect the functionality to expand over time. Look, if you want the best of both worlds, tablet and PC, don't buy this. Buy a Surface Book and spend twice as much money. But if you want a similar experience, are tired of the same old laptops, like to find alternative workflows for traditional PC computers and want a technical product that is pleasant to use in every way imaginable. then buy without regrets.
