These 5 pairs of steel earrings are reasonably priced for what you get. I've seen a pair for almost the price of all 5 pairs. I bought these for my almost 4 year old daughter to enlarge her piercing earrings (which are also surgical or stainless steel). I thought she might have been pierced in the smallest size - 2mm - but after getting her I see that 2mm should be what a 6 month old would pierce. My daughter's piercing earrings are 3mm, so I'll give her 4mm if she's ready to change them. I am currently wearing 5mm myself and they are perfect for my specific lobes. Overall this is a good set, perfect for those with multiple ear piercings. ***** UPDATED ***** I'm updating this review 5 years later! This is one of my longest items that I have purchased from Amazon. After 5 years I wear these earrings every day, they still look great, have not faded, never had an allergic reaction or infections. My daughter wore the smaller sizes with no problem. The photo shows the sizes 4mm and 3mm.
