I moved into a new home just over a year ago. I'm not sure why the sealing work seems to be of poor quality, but I've noticed some cracks and splits in my bathroom and kitchen recently. I learned to caulk my bathroom using the wet finger technique. The trick with caulk is to put the caulk in the gap, spray it with water/cleaner, it's easier to wipe off and use your finger to make a nice edge, then wipe the excess off your finger. I've had good results with this technique but wanted a cleaner finish. I came across this product and decided to give it a try. It works better than my finger and I'm happy with the results. I still use the wetting technique and then trim with a tool. It's very cheap but effective, and the material seems strong enough to withstand at least a few different uses. I am already pleased with his work in my kitchen as seen in the photos and now approach future projects with no fear.
