In short, if you want a damn good case to protect your phone, it won't charge your phone. Here is my experience with the Samsung J7 and it works but I put it under the battery cover first and even without the case it would not charge and my charger is rated for up to 10mm charge. So I took it out of WHERE IT SHOULD BE and placed it on the outside of the battery cover between the phone and the case, but it still didn't work until I removed the 1mm thick plastic cover from the silicone inner case. It finally started charging wirelessly with nothing even semi-solid between it and the charger.
