So I didn't read the instructions instead I watched their YouTube videos. The video helped a lot! The video shows that the removal is very simple, requiring the removal of a small amount of glue from the old ones. I understand every app is different but I have to say mine was a problem and my old pads still had a lot of adhesive sticking to the headphones. They give you 2 swabs with alcohol but for me it wouldn't help. I had to use Goo-Gone to get rid of all the glue, which was painful and time consuming. I had to use about 4 alcohol swabs to completely remove all residue. After drying with a paper towel the new pads snapped in and seem to be holding up well and feel great!
